A minimum of any 6 bottles is required for each winery you purchase from. We also require bottles to be purchased in increments of 6 as wines are packed and shipped in 6-bottle cases
The early drinking red wine has had its high and low periods yet there are still classic wines of the world made as just this - specifically Beaujolais the Joven juvenile wines of Spain and fantastic blends from the southern Rhone. An early drinking red wine is nothing to be ashamed of - it is a celebration of the season Tasting noteAppearance deep and vibrant redpurple with purple notes. The colour is extraordinarily dense and full of vibrance.Aroma plums mulberries poached strawberries red fruits lifted cherry notes spice and dark chocolate. An engaging and enticing array of aromatics that is very hard to put down.Palate generous and soft with bright fresh flavours. The flavours are surprisingly complex as they evolve from one to another. There is great length of flavour and texture and abundant but soft juicy tannins. This wine drinks fantastically now and will for some years.Food ideas slow cooked pulled pork with braised vegetables duck pizza shepherds pie lamb chops with pistachio couscous while you are waiting for the bbq to warm up.Drink Now and over the next 12 years.

The wine was delivered by GSO Courier early this am and was in perfect shipping condition. The bottle temperature was cool to the touch which is amazing given we have been hitting 37C every day for the last week here in our California summer.

I have put the wine into our temperature controlled bottle storage to let them rest for a week (mostly for the 3 bottles of red). I did put one of the Rosés in the frig which we will try tomorrow because we are out to dinner tonight with friends.
Your Rose of Virginia is my favorite rosé, above French and Californians that we have consumed with Tablas Creek “Dianthus” from near Paso Robles being a second.
Now that we have experienced a shipment from you, I am sure we will order a couple of cases more but will wait until weather is cooler for us and the wine.
