Have Australian taxes been removed from purchase price on Australia Tasting Room, as the purchases are export sales?

Australian taxes such as Wine Equalisation Tax (WET) and/or Goods and Services Tax (GST). This decision is made entirely at the winery’s discretion, and Australia Tasting Room does not control which taxes a winery chooses to remove. We do, however, strongly encourage all winery partners to pass on any available export tax benefits to international customers wherever possible. You can filter prouducts that have Australian Taxes removed via the 'Export Savings Applied' filter under the 'Promotions' tab in the filter section on the All Wines Page.

All prices displayed on Australia Tasting Room already include any discounts or tax removals that the winery has chosen to apply. In some cases, smaller wineries may not offer export discounts, as removing WET and GST can leave them financially worse off compared to domestic sales, where they may be eligible to claim WET credits from the Australian Taxation Office while achieving full retail pricing.
