A minimum of any 6 bottles is required for each winery you purchase from. We also require bottles to be purchased in increments of 6 as wines are packed and shipped in 6-bottle cases
The Parawa Estate Grand Reserve 2007 Ingalalla Cabernets is a true five bordeaux blend varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Cabernet Franc Malbec and Petit Verdot. It has been judged in two Winestate magazine blind winemaker peer judging panels against the top Bordeaux First growths. It scored above Chateaux Lafite Mouton Margaux Haut Brion and equal with Latour. In a prestigious Hong Kong judging it was rated top wine alongside Penfolds 2004 Bin 60A up ahgainst 2002 Chateau Latour and 2002 Haut Brion. It has been described as a World Great by Master of Wine Andrew Corrigan AUS and A beauty by Master of Wine Bob Paulinski US. He added Its rare to find a wine with a high level of concentration that is also both nuanced and subtle at the same time.

Tasting notes from Bob Paulinski Master of Wine November 2018 2007 Parawa Ingalalla Grand Reserve Cabernets - 1920 PointsA beauty Deep dense well extracted yet elegant and refined. Its rare to find a wine with a high level of concentration that is also both nuanced and subtle at the same time. The aromas are broad and layered with distinct notes of cassis and cigar box. The oak is well integrated into the wine to round out the experience. The tannins are apparent but they are also ripe and seamlessly integrated into the wine. On the second day and even into the third after opening the wine it was still drinking very well maybe better. This is a testament to the structure and skill that went into the making of it.
Winemakers Notes
This is a fantastic wine that was aged in new and seasoned French oak for an amzing four years. As a result it has metabolised the fruit allowing it to continue to age and drink well. we still enjoy it now and even after the bottle has been opened a day or two. Decanting preferred.
Food Pairings
Great with the best steak or US baby back ribs.

The wine was delivered by GSO Courier early this am and was in perfect shipping condition. The bottle temperature was cool to the touch which is amazing given we have been hitting 37C every day for the last week here in our California summer.

I have put the wine into our temperature controlled bottle storage to let them rest for a week (mostly for the 3 bottles of red). I did put one of the Rosés in the frig which we will try tomorrow because we are out to dinner tonight with friends.
Your Rose of Virginia is my favorite rosé, above French and Californians that we have consumed with Tablas Creek “Dianthus” from near Paso Robles being a second.
Now that we have experienced a shipment from you, I am sure we will order a couple of cases more but will wait until weather is cooler for us and the wine.
