Reviews 96 points Erin Larkin for Robert Parker Wine AdvocateThe 2024 Wait Single Site Grenache wont be released until late 2025 and the wine is showing notes of Campari and blood orange raspberry seed and poached rhubarb. On the palate this wine really shines and it shows the power and succulence of the 2024 season. This has surprisingly low alcohol but it works really wellthe fruit and tannins feel ripe despite this. It is almost an entire degree lower in alcohol than usual. 13.2 alcohol sealed under Diam Origine. Published Sep 26 202596 points Marcus Ellis for Halliday Wine CompanionFrom the top block of bush vines on the Wait vineyard in Blewitt Springs with vines back to the mid-1940s. These single-site grenache bottlings are quite different to the 23s and thats no surprise given the relatively warmer year with a reflection of greater ripeness in the stems or thats how it seems. Its brooding in a way but also refined. Amaro herbs preserved sour cherry white pepper a bastourma-like cured meat note lingonberry goji dusky rose and a crackle of spice. This was picked on the earlier side based on the final alcohol giving a pleasing verve and linearity though the fruit is impeccably ripe and the site reflection bell clear. Excellent. 22 September 202595 points Campbell Mattison for The Wine FrontGorgeous wine. Plenty up its sleeve but ready to be consumed now too should you wish. I wished. Herbs undergrowth boysenberry red and black cherry a graphite note a gentle meatiness. This is juicy fine smoky and impeccably well structured all at once. Tannin is like a tickle in the dark youre not sure where it came from but youre sure aware of its presence. Cant fault this. Its exquisite.

Tasting Notes
Deeply coloured with an intense ruby hue. Savoury aromatics of turned earth root vegetable and dark cherry are subtle but have great depth. The palate is firm with a very savoury and slightly saline edge. Tannin is the most prominent of the three SV wines it comes in waves and carries the savoury edge of the wine across the palate withgreat length. This wine will stand up to a rich food pairing and will benefit with time in the cellar.
Winemakers Notes
Grown by Robyn Wait and family this wine is structural savoury and is the darling of wine critics and Aphelion winemaker Rob Mack alike. - Louise Rhodes Mack Co-Founder Owner Operator Aphelion
Food Pairings
Redolent with a sausage and thyme ragu.

Just a quick note to say I am so glad I found Australia Tasting Room! Since leaving Australia, I have missed some of my favorite wines. I researched other freight companies, but none offered the personal touch service of Australia Tasting Room. You have a great selection from the best vineyards. You added others upon request, and also gave great recommendations when asked. And customer service does not stop with the purchase— The team keep me updated on the shipment every step of the way! I cannot imagine a better service from people who know wine and love to share that knowledge. You have a customer for life! Cheers, J Mason

The wine was delivered by GSO Courier early this am and was in perfect shipping condition. The bottle temperature was cool to the touch which is amazing given we have been hitting 37C every day for the last week here in our California summer.
Well done!
I have put the wine into our temperature controlled bottle storage to let them rest for a week (mostly for the 3 bottles of red). I did put one of the Rosés in the frig which we will try tomorrow because we are out to dinner tonight with friends.
Your Rose of Virginia is my favorite rosé, above French and Californians that we have consumed with Tablas Creek “Dianthus” from near Paso Robles being a second.
Now that we have experienced a shipment from you, I am sure we will order a couple of cases more but will wait until weather is cooler for us and the wine.
Again thanks for an excellent wine and the good service.
Cheers,
Richard A.

The wine arrived last week in good shape - nothing broken or leaked. Your packing design is impressive. Laying it down for a couple of months to settle in. Looking forward to enjoying it. Thanks very much

Australia Tasting Room is a very fine company, with professional direction and management. I appreciate the friendly service, and all your efforts above and beyond to make all deliveries happen. Most impressive were the instant answers and responses any time I had a question. All during a pandemic! Pretty amazing when you think about it.
Highest regards,
Judy M
P.S. One Contact, One Process, and One Delivery - customers and wine treated equally and expertly, with care. You really can’t beat that! Great job.
