Reviews 95 Points Ray Jordan Wine PilotThis is one of the most distinctive parts of the Barossa with the red brown clay soils yielding wines of tremendous poise and structure with a thread of iron stone a subtle character. On the nose traces of dusty earth and spicy black fruits emerge. The savoury ironstone characters of the palate complement the deep fruit flavours supported by firmish sinewy tannins. A distinctive wine that reflects its origins. 2024-203695 Points Jeni Port Wine PilotVery much a bold fluent speaking Barossa Shiraz. Deep rich and black hearted . . . and thats just the colour. Marananga heavy spice to the fore together with super ripe black fruits plum aniseed cedary oak dusty earth and more. Everything is in overdrive but its so nicely put together it carries it well with extra oomph and power through to the finish. Fine grained persistent tannins bring the structure visceral textural notes bring the middle palate warmth. Alcohol is noted with an equally warm finish. Always distinctly Marananga in style richness colour and sweet fruited dark intensity. 2024-204095 Points Ken Gargett Wine PilotFrom the very heart of the Barossa for many this sub-region has been responsible for some of the greatest wines ever to emerge from the district. This wine sees a year and a half maturing in the teams best oak a mix of French and American. Good examples from this district can offer blueberry notes and hints of chocolate mud cake. This wine does just that. It is a cracker and is seriously good value when compared with some other elite Shiraz from the sub-region. Under cork. This is youthful but intense with an opaque maroon hue. Notes of cassis coffee beans mocha blackberries and leather the quality of the Marananga region is on full display. The oak is well integrated and the texture is plush with silk tannins. The palate sees the emergence of big black cherries and graphite notes. So much to love here. This is certain to provide pleasure for a decade perhaps twice that. 2025-203592 Points Erin Larkin The Wine AdvocateThe 2023 Terroirs of the Barossa Marananga Shiraz hails from the cool and wet 2023 vintage and the wine leads with sweet dark fruit exotic spices and rich earthy tannins. The palate follows exactly as it should with no break in form or flow of flavor across the tongue. This is very good. Sourced from the Dahlitz vineyard the wine matured in French oak 20 new. The acidity pinches the finish a little but the fruit is fantastic. 14.5 alcohol sealed under natural cork. 2025-2038

Just a quick note to say I am so glad I found Australia Tasting Room! Since leaving Australia, I have missed some of my favorite wines. I researched other freight companies, but none offered the personal touch service of Australia Tasting Room. You have a great selection from the best vineyards. You added others upon request, and also gave great recommendations when asked. And customer service does not stop with the purchase— The team keep me updated on the shipment every step of the way! I cannot imagine a better service from people who know wine and love to share that knowledge. You have a customer for life! Cheers, J Mason

The wine was delivered by GSO Courier early this am and was in perfect shipping condition. The bottle temperature was cool to the touch which is amazing given we have been hitting 37C every day for the last week here in our California summer.
Well done!
I have put the wine into our temperature controlled bottle storage to let them rest for a week (mostly for the 3 bottles of red). I did put one of the Rosés in the frig which we will try tomorrow because we are out to dinner tonight with friends.
Your Rose of Virginia is my favorite rosé, above French and Californians that we have consumed with Tablas Creek “Dianthus” from near Paso Robles being a second.
Now that we have experienced a shipment from you, I am sure we will order a couple of cases more but will wait until weather is cooler for us and the wine.
Again thanks for an excellent wine and the good service.
Cheers,
Richard A.

The wine arrived last week in good shape - nothing broken or leaked. Your packing design is impressive. Laying it down for a couple of months to settle in. Looking forward to enjoying it. Thanks very much

Australia Tasting Room is a very fine company, with professional direction and management. I appreciate the friendly service, and all your efforts above and beyond to make all deliveries happen. Most impressive were the instant answers and responses any time I had a question. All during a pandemic! Pretty amazing when you think about it.
Highest regards,
Judy M
P.S. One Contact, One Process, and One Delivery - customers and wine treated equally and expertly, with care. You really can’t beat that! Great job.
