We brought these varieties together to create a white that is full, expressive and rich, but also has delicacy and freshness at the end of the palate. The nose features lifted aromatics of white peach, mandarin, preserved lemon and white pepper. There is a beautiful richness through the mid palate, with flavours of grilled pineapple, pear and hazelnut, followed by a juicy lemon acidity on the finish.Label artwork is by South Australian artist Tom Gleghorn.

Reviews From the Sandalwood vineyard in the McLaren Flat foothills. Approximately 454015 grenache grispicpoulclairette as hand picked into same bins. Co-fermented in concrete then returned for 10 months elevage. Intensely expressive like a stroll through an orchard in blossom then rolling into a complex melange of orchard fruits and a dizzying layering of pear apple and stone fruit cultivars. Feels distinctly heirloom rather than the usual suspects. There are also hints of spice nutmeg and cinnamon. Its textural slippery but a little pithy too generous cascading with flavour. Then all is refined by a pristinely natural acid line. Its utterly delicious. 96 pointsMarcus Ellis Wine CompanionLots of white flower perfume musk stick-flagrantly fragrant really ginger and cassia bark fresh apricot green banana and apple. Its fleshy and flavoursome stone fruit and spiced pie apple powdery texture some citrus rind and raw almond bitterness balanced acidity with a stony and pithy bite on a finish of good length. Very interesting also different and engaging. Like it. 93 pointsGary Walsh The WinefrontAromas of peaches white nectarines ginger lemon pith and yellow apples. The palate is medium-bodied with generous texture and focused acidity showing orange rind grapefruit chamomile and spices. Refreshing and delightful. Drink now. 93 pointsJamesSuckling.comA wine of white stone fruit and gentle yellow citrus. A hint of apple blossom and creamed honey there too. Sugared pineapple and salt crystals the wine combines some elegant nectarine and lemon with a hint of marzipan and almost savoury chicken salt-esque moments. There is the tell-tale grip of Grenache Gris and the wine finishes bone dry. A wonderful wine for sliced chicken and summer salads. Drink now2030. 92 pointsShanteh Wale The Vintage JournalMid-straw and bright in the glass. Complex and lifted aromas of stone fruit wheat puff baked apple spice and white lily. Textured nutty mouth-filling and layered on the palate. Mealy and with a core of cooked citrus pear and pithy acidity. Theres also lovely grip and shape on the finish. 92 pointsAaron Brasher The Real Review

About Coriole

Coriole Vineyards is situated in the undulating hills of the McLaren Vale wine region in South Australia, just within sight of the sea. Coriole was founded by Hugh and Molly Lloyd in the 1960s, and is still owned and managed by the Lloyd family today. Shiraz is the great tradition of McLaren Vale going back over 150 years, and is the major variety planted on the estate. Alongside shiraz, cabernet, grenache and chenin blanc, Coriole produces alternative varieties such as piquepuol, nero d’avola, montepulciano and negroamaro. Coriole has been a pioneer of Italian varieties since 1985, with the oldest sangiovese and fiano vineyards in Australia. Coriole has 25 different vineyards ranging from newly-planted varieties to shiraz vineyards dating back over 100 years. Coriole manages small vineyards in the sub-regions of Blewitt Springs, Willunga and McLaren Flat providing a range of different terroir to work with.

Just a quick note to say I am so glad I found Australia Tasting Room! Since leaving Australia, I have missed some of my favorite wines. I researched other freight companies, but none offered the personal touch service of Australia Tasting Room. You have a great selection from the best vineyards. You added others upon request, and also gave great recommendations when asked. And customer service does not stop with the purchase— The team keep me updated on the shipment every step of the way! I cannot imagine a better service from people who know wine and love to share that knowledge. You have a customer for life! Cheers, J Mason

The wine was delivered by GSO Courier early this am and was in perfect shipping condition. The bottle temperature was cool to the touch which is amazing given we have been hitting 37C every day for the last week here in our California summer.
Well done!
I have put the wine into our temperature controlled bottle storage to let them rest for a week (mostly for the 3 bottles of red). I did put one of the Rosés in the frig which we will try tomorrow because we are out to dinner tonight with friends.
Your Rose of Virginia is my favorite rosé, above French and Californians that we have consumed with Tablas Creek “Dianthus” from near Paso Robles being a second.
Now that we have experienced a shipment from you, I am sure we will order a couple of cases more but will wait until weather is cooler for us and the wine.
Again thanks for an excellent wine and the good service.
Cheers,
Richard A.

The wine arrived last week in good shape - nothing broken or leaked. Your packing design is impressive. Laying it down for a couple of months to settle in. Looking forward to enjoying it. Thanks very much

Australia Tasting Room is a very fine company, with professional direction and management. I appreciate the friendly service, and all your efforts above and beyond to make all deliveries happen. Most impressive were the instant answers and responses any time I had a question. All during a pandemic! Pretty amazing when you think about it.
Highest regards,
Judy M
P.S. One Contact, One Process, and One Delivery - customers and wine treated equally and expertly, with care. You really can’t beat that! Great job.

Our twelve pack of Tasmanian treats arrived yesterday afternoon without a scratch on them! Now we get to enjoy drinking them with family and friends. Hopefully we can toast some excellent defensive draft picks by the Packers soon!
Thanks for an excellent experience with Australia Tasting Room!

Thank you again for your expedited attention to our order and its shipping. The wine has arrived in wonderful condition, and we shared a bottle with one of our friends on Friday who enjoyed it as much as we did.
We will continue to watch for its availability in our area, and we wish you continued success.
