This Tomorrowland exclusive release Shiraz is selected from Anvers best parcels of the vintage.The 2021 vintage combines the vibrant berry and spice flavors of Adelaide Hills Shiraz with the richness, dark plum and blackberry fruit of Langhorne Creek Shiraz. After 20 months maturation in French oak barrels this Shiraz is a wonderfully complex combination of elegance and power, rich yet with velvety tannins and a long persistent finish.
The grapes are manually harvested and de-stemmed into small, open concrete fermenters and fermented to dryness on skins with regular gentle pump-overs to extract colour and tannin. By de-stemming the grapes only, without putting through the crushing rollers a number of whole berries remain in the ferment which helps lift the fruit character. Following fermentation the grapes are pressed, settled and racked to a combination of new and 1 year old French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation. Following malolactic fermentation the wines are racked and put back to the same oak barrels on light lees.Only very fine grain French oak barrels are used with medium toast levels. After 12 months oak maturation a selection of the best barrels is made for the Tomorrowland Shiraz. The wine is then blended and returned to the oak barrels for a further 8 months to allow the components to fully integrate.92 pts - Campbell Mattinson

The wine was delivered by GSO Courier early this am and was in perfect shipping condition. The bottle temperature was cool to the touch which is amazing given we have been hitting 37C every day for the last week here in our California summer.

I have put the wine into our temperature controlled bottle storage to let them rest for a week (mostly for the 3 bottles of red). I did put one of the Rosés in the frig which we will try tomorrow because we are out to dinner tonight with friends.
Your Rose of Virginia is my favorite rosé, above French and Californians that we have consumed with Tablas Creek “Dianthus” from near Paso Robles being a second.
Now that we have experienced a shipment from you, I am sure we will order a couple of cases more but will wait until weather is cooler for us and the wine.
