Located northeast of Adelaide, the Barossa Valley is one of Australia's most famous wine regions, with a winemaking history stretching back to the early pioneers. Known for its warm climate, it excels in producing full bodied red wines, particularly Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache, as well as fortified wines.
